Become a Sperm Donor

Help make a new family’s beginning possible. Explore sperm donation with Irvine Surrogacy, learn about screening and scheduling, and decide whether the journey is right for you.

What is Sperm Donation?

Becoming a sperm donor is an opportunity to help individuals and couples build the families they hope for. Your donation can provide a path to parenthood for those who need donor sperm for personal or medical reasons.

At Irvine Surrogacy, sperm donor compensation starts at $3,000, with payment terms outlined in your donor agreement. Our team offers personalized guidance throughout the process, from your initial application through screening and coordination with the fertility clinic.

Privacy and any contact with intended parents will be discussed before moving forward. If both parties agree, a video meeting may be arranged, with expectations documented in the donation agreement.

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply at 18?

Yes. ISA accepts applications from adults 18 and older. The clinic or donation program may apply additional age, health or other criteria.

What screening should I expect?

Clinical evaluation may include a health history, examination, infectious-disease testing, genetic assessment, psychological consultation and semen analysis. The specific program determines the required steps.

What is a directed donation?

In a directed donation, the donor is identified to the recipients. Any meeting, video call or future-contact arrangements should be discussed for the specific program rather than assumed.

How many appointments are involved?

The number of samples, visits and follow-up tests depends on the clinic and type of donation. Ask for a schedule and any travel expectations before committing.

Will I be paid?

Yes. Contact ISA for current compensation terms. Any compensation, expense coverage and payment conditions should be agreed in writing. Another agency’s advertised payment does not represent an ISA offer.

Will I have parental responsibilities?

The donation process is intended to establish the recipients as the child’s legal parents. Your parental rights and responsibilities will be addressed in the donation agreement under applicable law.

Can I remain anonymous?

Yes. ISA offers anonymous donation, meaning your identity is not shared with recipients through the program.

What if my family health history is incomplete?

Provide what you know and use “Unknown” where appropriate. Do not guess or present unconfirmed information as fact. ISA or the clinic may request clarification.

Where do my answers and photos go?

Your application is submitted for ISA’s donor recruitment review. It is not a public donor profile, and other applicants cannot browse your submission.
